So I'm attempting the whole 'National Post Once A Day' thing. Although, I wound up not posting anything over the weekend but figure posting twice on Friday and Monday *totally* counts. Today is another picspam post because if ya'll love ghost towns, you'll love a GHOST CITY even more!!

Viceland: An hour or so’s sail from the port of Nagasaki, the abandoned island silently crumbles. A former coal mining facility owned by Mitsubishi Motors, it was once the most densely populated place on earth, packing over 13,000 people into each square kilometre of its residential high-risers. It operated from 1887 until 1974, after which the coal industry fell into decline and the mines were shut for good. With their jobs gone and no other reason to stay in this mini urban nightmare, almost overnight the entire population fled back to the mainland, leaving most of their stuff behind to rot.

Heh, I got all this via a link from ariestess. Cliff Notes version - Sci-Fi author K. Tempest Bradford takes resurrected Realms of Fantasy magazine to task for constantly putting fantasy art with only females on their covers. During the course of discussion, someone, *not* K. Tempest Bradford, creates a mock RoF cover featuring a semi-nude male, which Bradford later posts on her blog. Someone, or someone's, miffed about the post talks to Harlan Ellison about Bradford calling RoF sexist. Harlan Ellison proceeds to make a COMPLETE AND UTTER ASS of himself.. again. It should be noted, Ellison has since apologized. Regardless, the ensuing flap had the predictable outcome of derailing the conversation, the topic of which was a magazine devoted to fantasy and science fiction with a large female readership constantly putting up covers for the sole purpose of appealing to male readers.

Anyway, enough about that, what does any of that have to do with this post? I was so inspired - I MADE REALMS OF FANTASY COVER PRoN!! That's what! Sure, in the pictures below the cut, I could have used the original models. But why be so boring when I can photoshop Gerard Butler and Karl Urban as horny satyrs holding their erect satyr-hoods in their hands as they gaze seductively into camera!?! Heh, someone somewhere *really* regrets giving me Photoshop!

Needless to say, this is soo NOT SAFE FOR WORK!! But, what do I know, I haven't had a job for so long I've forgotten what the Hell that means!!

Lawless performed two shows at the Roxy in LA last weekend. Seriously, when I heard about this, I almost *drove* down there. Now, I'm sad I didn't. Because..

First snow of the season. Whee!! And I didn't have to work today. So I don't have to worry about getting plowed into by some bad driver. The image quality could be better. I'm using a digital cam that's like 147 in dog years. This thing is totally on its last legs but still keeps on ticking.

Changed my header again. It's not that I didn't like the old one, I just wanted something that brought out Jill Wagner's eyes a bit more. Because, really, JW has just gorgeous eyes. Not to thrilled with the current color scheme for the rest of my LJ. Never was a fan of light text on dark backgrounds, so that might be changing as well. Plus, I'm not sure how long this header will stay up thanks to being pointed towards a smorgasborg of Blade pics by thelana via fembuck's LJ.

Made another photomanip, okay only one manip this time. And, not only is it femslash picspam, it's totally Safe For Work!!

And here I was about to upload some more naked footballer pics! Just checked my previous picspam posts and some of my pics have been removed! Whee, thank goodness I don't have a paid photobucket account or else I'd be pissed! I was always wary of photobucket anyway since all public pics go into a public browser. Which I don't particularly approve of but, Hell, I ain't payin' for it.

Now, I'm off to fix the post and then find the jackhole who reported me. And, really, it's kinda funny as to what's considered okay and what's considered a violation of terms.

It's all lostingeekdom's fault!! In preparation for the World Cup, she gave the rallying cry for Shallow Viewers *everywhere*. And, really, when it comes to the Shallow, I am soo very, very weak!
