More Blade Picspam

Made another photomanip, okay only one manip this time. And, not only is it femslash picspam, it's totally Safe For Work!!

It's *way* smaller than I would have liked but the Krista pic I was using wasn't particularly big to start with. hopefully, now that the show's a hit..for Spike anyway, there'll be more high-res photos to do stuff with.

I also found a ton of Blade icons over at scribewraith's journal.

I haven't watched it yet. I recorded it so I could get ready for the Storm game tonight. I'll probably watch it sometime tomorrow.

And *sigh* they're really dead set on keeping Dave O'Brien aren't they? Idiots.

Ugh .. I heard his stupid ass voice in the commenting and tuned him out. It just seemed for a bit like it was a second string Chelsea team. No Ballack. How boring. But John Terry and Joe Cole and Lampard were around. And being useless.

Nope, still haven't downloaded whatever software it is I need. Usually never had an incentive to chat because most of the time you East Coasters are already asleep when I have the opportunity to do so.

*g* I'm on practically every one of the main chat things, but I don't use MSN and yahoo often. If you have gmail, you don't need to download chat software. You can chat through it. And I'm usually up pretty late anyway most days. Email me if you're still around for a bit.

Oh, and whoever this guy is playing Blade? He sucks. Wesley Snipes was the best.

They offered Snipes the role but he turned it down. Aside from the stupid name, he doesn't bother me much. Mainly because they haven't given him much to do other than growl and look bad ass. Hopefully, Wednesday's ep will add some depth to the character which, at the moment, seems to be going all Krista's way. Not that I mind but the show is called Blade, afterall.

He doesn't look badass as much as a thug trying to act as a scary badass. His acting is lacking in general, and Krista is totally stealing the show. And uh .. subtext be damned. I want Chase to start making out wth Krista right now. Because ..dude .. seriously. This is like .. all hot, kinky unrestrained sex waiting to explode.

Hee, I *know*!! And, seriously, if there isn't at least *one* real make out session with Chase and Krista before the end of season two, I'll be severely disappointed in Spiketv!!

I think what caught me off guard with this show is how much the writers are investing in Krista. Like, I'm so used to the Stargates of tv where female characters are more tokens that the PTB eyerollingly write into the script because they have to. And I shall stop now because I feel an Atlantis/Sg-1 rant coming on.

I guess that's probably why Sticky's, heh, acting doesn't bug me. I'm invested enough in the character to overlook the flaws of the actor.

Hey .. it's a comic book adaptation on a channel for guys, so vampires *have* to be lesbians. WE DEMAND ACTION!

I'd prefer Sticky to continue sucking at his acting, which might mean more airtime for Krista and Chase and steamy subtext.
