Friday TV Time
Feb. 4th, 2006 12:07 amDamn, totally missed John Doe 'cuz I was late coming home from work.
Stargate SG-1 - aka, the one where are Heroes come across like dumb-ass assholes. While I felt that the ep was actually *good*, and it was nice watching Our Heroes get their asses completely kicked. Daniel negotiating for the Caledarion(sp) to abandon their home and then act surprised when a) they don't and b) the Rand obliterate them from the face of the planet was naively stupid. Even more stupid, knowing these guys were dealing with the Ori and *not* sending a negotiations team afterwards to help facilitate the peace process. Almost as dumb as not blowing up that damn satellite when they had the chance...twice!!
Atlantis - Meh, skipped this one tonight. Just as I have no interest in watching The Rodney McKay Hour, I have no interest in watching There's Something About Shepard.
South of Nowhere - Is there really anything that needs to be said other than OMGAshleyANDSpencerKISSED!!
Battlestar Galactica - Dude, this is turning into the Gayest Show on TV! To quote

jennyo's journal - It's like they sprayed the entire female cast down with it. True dat!! There was so much slashy googness I can even forgive the Kara emo-angst over the dead slampiece back on Caprica crap.
And the scene where Kat punches Kara, Lee walks in and if you blinked and missed the punch you'd swear Kat was looking guilty for getting busy with Kara!! They're both half-dressed, covered in a sheen of sweat, panting and Kat's holding the 'offending hand' behind her back! I'm not sure what Ron Moore's been smoking to make him up the slashy subtext to the 30th degree, but I'm soo buying him a dozen gift boxes of it!
Although it sucks that Ron didn't spread the Starbuck Slash around some more. I could have used a Kara/Laura scene, or a wee bit of Racetrack and Cally.

on 2006-02-04 04:04 pm (UTC)God, I really am that transparently shallow! I'm not jumping on the Kara/Kat ship, yet. I still find Racetrack hotter and more intruiging as a character. Doesn't mean I don't wanna read any Kara/Kat slash. But, that's just 'cuz Starbuck's slashy with *everyone*.
And OMG Boomer/Starbuck!!!
Heh, I forgot to mention that scene last night. It really had the feel of 'Kara's talking to the ex-girlfriend she's never really gotten over'.
